Good news, I planted some flowering cabbage this summer beside the house, it is blooming! It is either pink or light purple. Also a Hibiscus plant that a friend gave me is still alive and doing good, I knoe it probably won't bloom this year, but I know it will come back up in the spring. It had roots on it when I planted it, it is not a Rose of Sharon but it is part of the Hibiscus family. It is a big flower white with a dark center. I gave up on the Rose of Sharon for this year, springtime comes I will get one with roots on it. I'm glad that some people can just stick the plants in the ground and they will take off, I can't. Knowing my luck the ones I planted will come up in the spring and I will have them all over the place! Well, thanks everyone for their advice I really appreciate it. Have a good Labor Day weekend!
