Moonflower is huge and healthy but wont bloom. What is wrong

Old Lyme, CT

I have moonflower and morning glory vines, large, healthy and well watered, but NO blooms? Is it the weather, which has been very hot, or what?

Wichita, KS

The Morning glories are short day plants and may not produce blooms (especially under unusual weather conditions) until the signal from the short days over-rides any other conflicting messages that the plants may be receiving from other environmental factors...

Phosphorus is bloom stimulating while excessive nitrogen may delay blooms...
