morning glories isn,t blooming

Shirley, IN

My morning glories havent bloomed at all I dont even have a single blossom could they still bloom ?

Waterman, IL(Zone 5a)

They should have bloomed by now. Did you fertilize them? If you did that may be the problem. I made that mistake once before. They grew lush and thick with leaves, but no flowers. Otherwise, maybe it's the location. They like a lot of sun.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

When did you plant them?

Shirley, IN

I planted them at the end of may , and yes I used miracle grow every two weeks

Fertilizer is probably your problem. All you get is a jungle of leaves and no flowers. Stop fertilizing.

Wichita, KS

Fertilizer is a fuzzy term that could refer to a large number of different nutrients...

Nitrogen is just one of the possible components of a 'fertilizer' and excessive levels of nitrogen can delay flowering but phosphorus (which is also a component of some fertilizers) is bloom stimulating to Morning Glories...

I had this problem to , I did get a lot of blooms finaly, it was late sept.though ,do they always bloom so late?

Toms River, NJ(Zone 7a)

The moonvines tend to bloom later in the season when the shorter day-length stimulates the plants to flower , although they may bloom earlier in warmer temperatures...
