Great pics you all!! Finally had time to really look...had 1 GD and she brought a friend with her to spend the weekend. Nothing as fun as two 11 year olds!

I am so excited about the bird bath and I already got what I was hoping for....Blue Birds!!

Had a Cooper's Hawk stop by briefly...got my 1 shot of it!

Burn it looks like that finch enjoyed sitting on the feeder hook-cute.

Hack, sorry the hummers aren't in the bath. They sure are cute all wet. You're so lucky to be seeing so many Cardinals. Cute Sparrow and wps-what a variety of birds! Love that Nuthatcher and the Chickadees.

Burd, hope you get a picture of that Magnolia Warbler. Sorry you're seeing the hawks too. I just have one, but it's been around every day and just sitting in a tree top and watching my birds.

Nanny, it looks like your bbs love the bath water. They're adorable. Hope that hawk doesn't see the bbs in the bath! Can you put an umbrella over it some way so he can't see them as easy?

Here's my daily visitor, a Red-tailed Hawk.

Can't see his head, but there's no doubt as to him being a Red-tailed.

I've been seeing a couple Black-headed Grosbeaks here lately, but they're staying in the neighbors fruit trees most of the time. This one was taking a break in a tall pine.

This Snowy Egret did a fly by the other day.

This tabletop fountain is constantly full of hummers or house finches, titmice, jays, even crows besides these Lesser Goldinches.

There were three Anna's hummingbirds in the bath but one got chased off.

Same immature Cooper's Hawk that's been hanging around the 2 time's Ive gotten to photograph's of him...he's been looking at the birdbath on non-hunting visits.

Well after being MIA all summer a Pileated Woodpecker stopped by just long enough for 2 quick shots....but it was way to early for good light yet!

Tennessee Warbler came by this afternoon....again bad light! lol

An immature Scissortail in the field behind the house. Don't think I've posted a Scissortail pic this year. Have lots of them around, but they are usually perched on a power line and make for a poor pic.

That's a great looking bird, Red.

Haven't seen a Painted Bunting on my feeder since May, but this juvie male showed up yesterday and was on the millet feeder all afternoon.

First Blue-gray Gnatcatcher I've seen in my yard. Light is poor, but you know how that goes.

This is a male Cardinal, but I don't think it was daddy, though - the juvy didn't pester him for a seed.

Here's a female Cardinal on the ground pretty far from the juvy. Probably not mama - never saw the juvy approach her, either.

I see a Chipping Sparrow every day, but not lots of them.
