Thunderstorm just rolled through too. Lots of lightening and vabooms but not a whole lot of rain. Will be happy to get even a little though. Should clear out quickly after the front pushes on by. Temp is 68 degrees.
A few more showers and a bit of thunder again. Sun is starting to break out now. Temp up to 72 degrees.

A half hour of thunder, 2 panic- stricken dogs, & one minute of rain....oh, well.......
Turned out nice, though warm. 85 now, with a low 28% H. Was humid this morning when we started, but then the great breeze started.
Bright blue skies here no rain in sight :(
91° right now but only 27% humidity
Very breezy & 81....quite a few clouds....have to drop off my paintings at the fair at 6....then tomorrow I have to go back & drop off the flowers.....the fairgrounds are 20 min. away from me.....I spend more in gas money than I get in prize money!

We got some rain in the early morning hours, but by afternoon, the hydrangea and impatiens were all shriveled up again. :(
We had a Monsoon today for about an hour, otherwise it's been raining normally off and on all day.

I am soooo bummed the wind is so crazy here... the bloom master box actually blew over and into the street... the thing is all smashed.. I could barely pick it up

there was about 1/2" of rain this morning, but at 7:30 am there were 2 crashing blasts outside the house which evidently blew our router so e-mail & internet were off. Just afternoon the phone & TV went off so I spent the late morning & early afternoon calling for help.
After help came he still could not get the computer to work on those 2 areas (all internal works, pictures documents etc. were ok). Finally after using his computer he go through to someone in the verizon office & there was a switch that the office person had to throw & only could be done there. so he was glad to head home & I saw a few things before waffles in the toaster (it was about 6:15) and not the time to worry about dinner.
So we loved the small bit of rain but not the bangs.
What caused the "blasts"???

OH...wow, that would have surprised me, we haven't had a thunder boomer here in I don't know how long...maybe June???
Their electrical field probably caused the problem since the lightening didn't hit anything. Am I correct, Victor? We are surrounded with many trees to hit.

We had a couple of cracks of lightening followed by the thunder when the Monsoon started. It didn't last long, but it dumped quite a bit of rain in a short period.
Geez Allison, sorry about the winds ruining your bloom master box.....must of been some strong winds!!

Going to start transplanting the plants I bought in June, but didn't plant because there wasn't any rain. (lol) - we still have drought conditions here, but at least it's not as bad as planting them in 95°.

It was 67 when I walked the dogs this afternoon, & I didn't work up much of a sweat.....
