Hello,
I trying to keep the place appearing neat here in the Rockies, we are being overrun by tumbleweeds and sunflowers here this year. I have a good, new Echo 280T weed trimmer and with .095 Gater line ( square and reinforced with steel) I find it lasts about two minutes trying to deal with these weeds. I like sunflowers but we have an over abundance of them this year.
My unit has the gearing for a more serious head to cut these weeds, but I want to make sure I can get the best out there so I am not constantly interrupted when doing this task. There are apparently a lot of different choices and I would like to make the best choice possible.
Thank you in advance,
Gene So

geneso,
You'd probably get the best answer to your question by posting in the "Garden Shed" forum. That forum covers your topic much better than here in the beginners forums.
