Help to identify an unusal tree

Mint Hill, NC(Zone 7b)

This tree is in a yard of a house we are looking to buy. I've never seen anything like this before. There are large leaves and then some other leaves/flowers that are a little lighter leaves with little round fruit/pod on the side of the leaf. Can you help me identify this tree?

Thanks for the help!

Looks like a golden rain tree. Pretty yellow flowers in the spring.

Here is a close-up of the lighter green leaves on the tree.

The leaves do not look like Goldenraintree (Koelreuteria) leaves. And the "lighter green leaves" are actually just part of the seed pod. I'm not sure what it is but I would post your pictures on the Plant ID forum here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/

Take a look at this one - I think you may be looking at a Firmiana simplex, Chinese Parasol Tree.

You are both quite welcome.

Do I need to add any asides...

It is a Chinese Parasol Tree. Thanks ViburnumValley!
