I want to start strawberries..... I thnk june bearing..... Do you plant in the fall? And if so where would be a good place to purchase healthy plants? Any tips would be helpful!

I purchased this huge heavy strawberry pot....I want to do them in there...people do that right? or are the pots more of a novelty thing?

Pots are a great way to grow strawberries. The berries you want to grow in pots are the day neutral strawberries. seascape, tribute and tri-star. June barriers will only put out one croup in our area during late June while the day neutral will produce berries up until we get a frost in October. you plant in early spring. I get some of my berries here.
