I'm moving from tropical GA to arid Globe, AZ so I'm learning a whole new ecosystem and methods of gardening. Exciting!
I'm planning a Pleasure Garden, a la the ancient Middle Eastern and Indian desert gardens, and would like to keep most of the plants in containers since the temperatures can get extreme. I plan on using mostly native plants suited for fragrance and bloom, like the blackfoot daisy and lord's candle yucca.
Has anyone had any success with decorative container gardening like this? Also, are there any night blooming/fragrant plants I should consider?
