When I bought it (in June), my hollyhock had beautiful burgandy flowers on it. Since those died off, it has had buds on it, but they simply don't open and it hasn't bloomed since. What am I doing wrong? Is there a trick to hollyhocks and getting them to keep blooming? Please help.
Hollyhocks
It could be transplant shock. I don't know how Hollyhocks handle that but someone will come along who does know.
If transplanted while blooming, definitely shock, do better when very young, but you changed its locale by purchasing, and it no longer is getting that special fertilizer water from the grower, g'luck
