After a recent storm a large pine tree that helped to shade our rhododendron bed was split in half. The bed now, of course, receives more sun than it did before. The leaves of the plant that had been most in that tree's shade have developed strange markings in the middle of many of it's leaves. The other plants around it so far seem unaffected. Could it be sunburn, or is the problem more serious?
