Did some remodeling on the hobbit house and elves homestead yesterday. Some new doors have been ordered with birthday money so needed a spruce up. Still under construction but I took some pics.

Love those mushrooms in the background, very unique!
While out there building also saw the first monarch butterfly.
This is the where the doors are coming from. One is round and one is pointed. http://www.gnomegarden.net/product/fairy-doors-that-open#
Nice! I've never seen them come in different colors!!
Here are the Hobbit doors. I got the tenth one with the window on top and natural wood. http://www.gnomegarden.net/product/wooden-%20gnome-door
The pointed one I ordered was the dark frame with blue. Will post another pic when they are completed. I think the grandkids will get a kick out of them.
I get a kick out of them...they'll love them!!
ooooohhh love all the hobbit stuff!!... you did a great job with the house!!!!
Elias Entwisel elves homestead is really cute! I wonder if toads use it.
My granddaughters would LOVE those! Very cute.
Very cute, Patti!
Thanks everyone. I checked this am and they are holding up well with all the heavy rain so far. I hope a toad doesn't decide to move in, they have other places in the garden, there will be a door on both so I wouldn't like to lock a toad in or out.
Very, very pretty JoAnn. Nice to see that lily still in bloom. Your garden is looking lush and green and those are some lovely combos of plants. The good news with the rain besides hearing the garden sigh is that it is perfect slug hunting weather, I only found two so am encouraged the invasion has been stopped, and the weeds will triple in size and number is the bad news. I am just happy for the rain finally.
The lilies were planted late.Black Beauties. They will be ontime next year.
Rain is good, we are getting mist and drizzle.
That is lovely thing for him to do and very pretty flowers. Many, many years ago a neighbor did the same with me. Some of my best memories.
They last a long time and bloom late...Black Beauty , Rubrum Lily, and Lilium speciosum var. rubrum 'Uchida'.
I need to get me some of them.
My neighbors are wonderful...he tells me the other day "ya know your kids are our surrogate grandkids"
