Meredith, I'll be at Bill's RU, if you are coming. Allison, I loved the moth on the cana leaves....those leaves themselves made a very artistic picture!

sedona & henna are both winners in my book
thanks guys .. Robin I was eying those Tropicana's for a couple of years at HD.. just had to buy them this year.. so glad I did
Okay Robin, I'll be sure to at least bring seeds. I might be able to spare a plant or two. I had moved a whole row of the A. rupestris quite late in fall and some of them didn't come back. So what I have left are probably the hardiest of the bunch I started from seeds a few years back. It could be due to the plants being short lived as well. They do reseed lightly. Out of the Agastache cana I grew last year from seed only 3 plants came back, so I'll only have seeds of those. They are very similar except the A. cana smells like bubble gum when crushed and has more pinkishpurple flowers, while the A. rupestris smells like rootbeer when crushed and has more orange pink flowers. They both have similar colored purple bracts. The hummers have been all over the few A. cana I have.
That's pretty. What a good pic. Really shows the different coloration.
Lovely colors !!!
Thanks so much, Meredith....they're lovely! Allison, sometimes we have to go with our impulses.....LOL
Thanks everyone! :)
I like that sunset!!!
Oh I like those. The Pink Swirl is really nice. I think I need more HH. My problem with the clems for the past two years has been slugs. Hope the chippy finds another meal away from your garden, like weeds. Most of the slimy slugs are gone now and clems are growing back and almost ready to bloom again.
Patti I love the verb & ag photo... what a great spot you created!!
Robin that pink swirl is outstanding!!
Nice pix Peoniae
Love your chauffeur, also Lucifer and zinnias.
nice rama
Thx guys
the cutest chauffeur ever!!!!
No seatbelt?!!
She likes to ride shot gun Victor.
I grew up (many decades ago) with a Labrador Retriever, and she was loving and gentle, and nicer than many humans currently on Planet Earth !!!
peoniae, DH wants zinnias exactly like that next year. Do you direct sow them, when, how do you prepare the soil, etc.? I'm mostly a winter sower (and NOT a photographer at all).
Just in from doing a bit of weeding. Just that little tiny bit of rain has made the weeds double in size seems like. Also has got the orange/yellow cosmos to bloom finally too. Another pleasant surprise is some nice new growth on two clems that have had mostly lovely brown leaves during the hot muggies. Kept deep watering them and at last some green growth has appeared.
Here's a cosmos bloom. Some are more golden yellow and some are real orange. Hope they will self seed around and return again next year.
They should, Pat....I have a few from last year....Rama, pretty dahlia, sorry others did not grow. Carrie, I had my son rototill thegarden in middle of April.....1st week of May I just broadcast the zinnia seed, went over the area with a rake, & got many plants.
some from me... I am excited the passion flower I grew from seed this year has blooms!!!!
