More dahlias are opening ...not sure what this one is.....
Garden Photos 2010 number 29
Double clicks are nice as are the dahlias.
love that glad...I too have a white DC just about open... (the thing isn't really planted.. still living in a cow pot on my deck... LOL)... I have a bunch of buds on my dahlias... no blooms yet
WOW tose Zinnias are powerful.
I planted mine late Robin... my own fault... love that yellowish zinnia!!!
Oh nice. I am enjoying the lilies specially since mine came and went so fast in the heat this year. Waiting on the orange cosmos here. Love that you have poppies still.
I have a question for you all, what is the best orange agastache you have grown?
I have a couple 'Heat Wave' that are quite tall btw, from last year that I got from Bluestone and a 'Sonoran Sunset' new this year from local nursery. The hummers just love them so thought I would try an orange one.
Here is 'Heat Wave'
Yeah, they brighten up my day!
I really like them, Pat, but they are an annual for me, so I've given up on them.
I love the picture. Agastache definitely needs the right back ground to photograph well, and yours is perfect. :)
Robin I bet have some that would be hardy for you... I'll have seeds this fall I can send you.
Patti I like AG Acapulco Orange the best... very tall in the garden... but stayed shorter in the container I over wintered it in (in case it didn't return).. and the cuttings I had in a container & in the ground last winter both returned...
Bill that hydrangea is a show stopper!!!
Beautiful tree hydrangea!!!
Looks great, Bill. (Wow, did I actually spot a weed??)
only if a missed one.
thx jen and allison
Good Morning everyone
hey there!!!
he he its just us!!!!
I'm up with zuzu on the other site.
nice!!!
It was too hot and muggy to take pictures yesterday so I dont have anything to post.
I took some the other day.. they are still on the camera.. guess I should take them off there
:)
Nice hydrangea tree and I like the "fence and post" there too. Pretty view of the BES.
Thanks for info on the agastache 'Alcapulco Orange' onewish. I am looking for a nice tall one and one that is a little shorter more tidy too.
Morning JoAnn.
as an annual... short one.. can't beat apricot sprite.. going to bring one in this year.. and see how it does
ut oh.. must have messed up the settings in picasa... for some reason it put my camera name on every photo

I love my Sprite.
You have blooms on the 10 foot?
lLucky you.
Nice hummer, b-fly and birdie shots. Like the one with the hummer and bee both looking to get a little nectar. Since the drought not so many b-flies around here lately. What orange agastache is that in your pics? Looks like a popular one with the winged residents.
well I think it's the same seed... the plant is only 3'... didn't get the required height
:)
sorry Patti... it's the apricot sprite
yes it does
Word on the internet is that Sedona coleus is quickly becoming a favorite, because it looks luminous at dusk, and on cloudy days.
absolutly.
In full sun it's hard to look at without going blind LOL
Oooo that is a nice combo. Very pretty and I like the blue/green foliage to the right with it too. Will have to mark these down for pots next year.
Oh great another Coleus to add to the list!!!
Love that Coleus!
Allison, nice birds pics, love the one with all 4 birds sitting in a row!
