Watercan, very nice mockingbird shot. When I was out today, I noticed that the Beauty berries are ripe. My beauty berries don't seem to be ready but now I'm wondering if the mockingbirds are eating them so fast that I just didn't know they were ripening.
VA_Wild_Rose, those pictures are stunning! I love the colors on that green heron. Can't believe you saw all that with so many people there. I'm wondering what that second little one is too.
Duc, totally jealous of all the orioles! WOW!
Cute one Nanny.
Took a bunch of photos that I liked today, but I'll try to limit myself to just a few! Got three favs of this Yellow-billed Cuckoo, but I'll just share two.
DAILY PICS VOL. 340
Great pics guys.
Va-Rose, I don't know your mystery bird, but it sure is pretty
WaterCan2, super capture of the mocker!
ducbucln, your juvy orioles are great.
Elphaba, those pics of the Yellow-billed Cuckoo are really something. A first for me.
Burd_Fotos, that 400mm brought that Red-eyed Vireo right up to you. Great.
Hack
Great start, duc. Your photos are always a joy to behold. How cute is that Titmouse?
Nice variety there, Hack. LOL on the Cardinal activity.
Good shots of the Cuckoo and Ibis, Elphaba.
Nanny, you little Hummingbird is so sweet. i suppose they'll be moving on soon.
WC, that's a fantastic shot of the Mockingbird.
Beautiful shots of the Heron, Wild Rose.
I love the gutter shot of the Woodpecker, Burn.
Nice finch shots, Lily_love.
A Red Wattlebird zoomed in and temporarily dislodged a Little Corella from its perch high in our gum tree. You'll need to look closely to see part of the Wattler.
OMG Margaret, that last shot is soooo cool! I had to take a minute to figure out where his beak was and then it all fell into place.
Hack, you have some nice ones too.
Nanny, your little hummer is cute!
Elphaba, that Cuckoo is adorable with the wide open beak. Love the big eye in that second one. Good looking Ibis too! Such great birds!!
Burd, love that Vireo. Sure is a pretty color.
Hack your baby Cardinal is a cutie! I enjoy seeing all your birds. Love that last Dove.
Margaret, it amazes me that that little Wattlebird can cause the larger Corella to fly off or jump. Super photos!
This female House Finch (I think) was enjoying the tabletop fountain this morning but only after the "bossy" male had his turn and flew off.
Nice shots everyone!!
The image is probably too small to be able to see that the Corella has closed it's eyes - drama queen
Rofl! Perfect description Margaret! Wonder if the police were called. lol
An immature Cooper's Hawk let me have a photo session today.
I never thought he was coming up to the feed area...he sat at the back of the yard then here he come's...shot had too much sunlight but enjoyed the opportunity to capture...
Wonderful shots, Burd. The one that has the title "another head shot" is fantastic.
Great pics everyone!
Burd, Wonderful shots of the Coopers!
It has been over 100 degrees here for 17 days straight and no measurable rain. HELP! I got out the fancy sprinkler this evening and had plenty of takers. At one point, the entire EBB family was in the sprinkler and then about 10 Robins. I even had an Oriole join in. Here's a Robin, I'm pretty sure I heard a , "Wheeeee!" at some point.
Nice variety duc!
Love the Kites Missy!
