I hope to hear some tips, advice or kind criticism from those of you who have had success or not growing the Angel Trumpet plant. The variety I am trying to grow is Double Yellow Datura-Angel Trumpet.
Here is my story about my first & only Angel Trumpet plant. My first attempt at having an Angel Trumpet was trying to grow a plant from seeds but not one seed spouted so I turned to eBay where I purchased a small plant. I have had it 6-8 weeks now. When I received it in the mail and opened the box the poor 1.5" inch plant was wilted and the leaves all yellow. I planted it in sandy rich soil and included the soil it was shipped in, trimmed the yellow leaves, watered it and said a small blessing as I always do with a new or frail plant.
I have fertilized it with Miracle-Gro every two weeks, and water it (lightly) daily and is sitting in a window where it gets plenty of sunlight from the SE. Since the day I got this Angel Trumpet plant it has lived and lost a few new leaves in the last couple weeks, the girth of the stem has increased some but it has not gotten any taller.
I posted this to see if anyone could offer any suggestions to get this plant to grow so I can put it in a much bigger pot and present it to my Mother, she just loves the Angel Trumpet plant. Could it be there is something I should or shouldn't be doing?
Thanks in advance!

Growing Angel Trumpet Plant? Help Please!!
Sounds like it was pretty stressed when you got it, so I wouldn't expect it to grow leaps and bounds until it's gotten over that and has gotten well established in the pot you put it in. Watering every day sounds like quite a lot, so you may be watering it too much, or else if you're just giving it little tiny "sips" of water every day then it would be better off with less frequent but more thorough watering. If you could post some pictures of it someone may have some other suggestions for you.
