Hi, I recently planted 3 celosia plumosa (cockscomb) seeds in a pot. Now interestingly enough, there are 4 sprouts coming out, 2 are green and 2 are red as in the 2 green ones, the stem and 2 leaves are green. And the 2 red ones, the stem is sorta red and the leaf is red. Which ones are they, and why do other ones comes out even though I did not plant them?
The images aren't very clear but you can see one is green and one is red.
the red one, click here to see it http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/4426/08052010050.jpg

Celosia Seedlings
It's hard to tell anything from the pictures, but if you planted 3 seeds and got 4 sprouts then at least one of them is something other than what you planted. If you let them grow a little bit and can get some more focused shots once they're bigger and have a few more leaves someone might be able to tell you whether any of them are your Celosia or not.
