I bought and planted a Banana Cream Shasta Daisy a few months ago in full sun. Once the flowers it had on it when I bought it died, it has yet to get any more blooms. Why won't it produce more flowers?
Shasta Daisy (Banana Cream)
Did you deadhead it?
It's probably still working on getting established. When you plant things, they need to spend their time focusing on developing good strong roots before they'll put energy into producing more flowers.
Yes I did dead-head it. It is still very green even, but no signs of any buds.
Since you did deadhead you did the right thing and it's probably doing exactly what ecrane says
Thank you very much ecrane and flowerjen. Sure appreciate the info and help. Happy Gardening!
ok I am new to this....how do I now mark this posting as "SOLVED"? Please Help.
I don't know if you could do it on this forum...I know the ID forums you can.
Do you see a tab in blue(I think) at the top of the thread by the title somewhere? If you don't... just make your last post read "SOLVED."
SOLVED - thank you
