My friend cut her Rubber tree plant in half. She gave me the top half and told me to root it. How do I do it? I got it alittle over a week ago. I just put the stem she broke off in water with alot of little rocks around it so it will stand up. Will it start to root in water or do I need to buy rooting powder? Please Help, I don't want my new plant to die!!
Rubber Tree Plant
Cookie,
I asked almost the same question in July. I got a lot of helpful information. My cuttings are doing great in just a good potting mix and being kept moist - not wet. Good luck.
