Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

Can't make the 4th (but you could still have it!).

Dibs on the massage chair!

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

We have family stuff going on both of those weekends, so I won't be able to make either one. Take lots of pictures, ok? :)

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

OK, How about the 18th? It wouldn't be the same without you guys!

Pony, you have to try this chair. It is pure bliss for your back and feet.

i think the 18th is okay with me. Get this: my calender doesn't go that far! I have to buy a new one. I get the 'school year' kind because I started that years ago and now just stay with it. But my notes about september dates say nothing about that weekend.

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm not sure, but I don't think we have anything happening that weekend.

Vashon, WA(Zone 8b)

i won't be able to make it, but will enjoy vicariously through pictures and descriptions shared afterward..

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

I am editing the first post as we go, to keep the possible attendee list current.

I sent out some D mails, but if I missed anyone, I apologize. Everyone is welcome.

Cedarhome, WA(Zone 8b)

Put me down as a 'maybe' as well. I never know what our plans are until the last minute, and September is currently too far away for me to think about.

(Linda)Gig Harbor, WA(Zone 8a)

Oh, Darn!!! that is the only weekend we can't! Just have to look forward to the pics!

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

We don't have anything scheduled for that day, I may be solo or with wife and 6yo depending on circumstances.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Spouses, kids, pets, they are all welcome. Just let me know a few days before, so I can plan accordingly. We have grandkids, so we have lots of kid toys.

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

Just got approval from the DW that we, Me, Megan and Ty will be coming along. And no, I am not trading Ty for anything including more Epis (right now).

As far as trades go, I can provide more than enough Crocosmia 'Lucifer' bulbs, and I am seeking crocus bulbs for my lawn and anything weird that I just need to have. But passing on a certain death potion for horsetail would be appreciated.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Yeah, I NEED some more Lucifer. I have 1, and he is lonely.

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

LOL Lynn- I too have one lonely little crocosmia. It's rather pitiful.

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

I can bring crocosmia bulbs. One of the few things that grow for me. In fact, someone gave me a big plastic bagful last year not knowing I didn't want anymore. They are growing nicely out of the plastic bag. I also dug some up and as always when digging 'weeds,' threw them on the lawn for Jim to clean up, which he never did. So now I have a mound growing on the lawn as well!

Does anyone have yellow or lighter orange crocosmia? I think they would look good with all the colors mixed together in an area.

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

I will gladly bring stray crocosima bulbs and seeds as I have to go trim them off before they create more stray plants.

(Sharon)SouthPrairie, WA(Zone 7a)

Yikes, I will also have lots of crocosia bulbs by then as they have gotten rampant in a couple of my beds.......Just how many does anyone want?

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

Well, I'm out. My surgery is the 14th. I don't think I'll feel up to a social gathering that quick. I for sure won't be able to drive. :-/

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

I'll save you some crocosmia bulbs, Pony. We'll be thinking of you. Do you need any help while you are down for your surgery?

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Lynn. I don't think I'll need any help- it's a pretty minor procedure, and I think recovery time is only supposed to be a couple of weeks. I can handle doing stuff one-armed for a little while. Gonna stock up on easy to fix food, etc. and Tracy can do his own laundry a time or two. ;)

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Well, if you change your mind, let me know. Also, if you want to just come over and visit, one of us can come get you and take you home.

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

You're such a sweetheart. Thank you. :)

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

We HAVE to have our Number 1 Pony here!

(Judi)Portland, OR

I think I can make it! And Pony must be there - I need to see the tattoo!

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

I would love to meet both Judi and pony. Darn It.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

We could come get you, Willow.

Judi, would you like to stay in the motorhome?

(Judi)Portland, OR

Lynn that is very sweet but I will have to wait until I see what my schedule is like in Sept. I will be in the middle of a class so who knows? I'm excited to meet more PNWers!

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Thanks but getting there isn't the problem. It's leaving here or leaving DH here. It's an only when necessary thing now.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

I understand.

It's on my calender.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Pixy, are you bringing your hubby?

If he wants to come. But no guarantees. I don't volunteer him for plant related outings because he just doesn't talk plants very well. I will invite him, though.

(Judi)Portland, OR

And the poor guy had to listen to plant talk AND baby talk at Gwen's. He's a keeper.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Joey would love to have some male company!

Rachel, are you and your dad and Eli coming? We just have to see your new baby!

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

Lynn is your place fenced )or a portion of it? So Quincy the beagle can come? Ty is 5 going on 6 (and 15), so he too would love either kids he trusts or adults who love to play with 6 year olds.

I will be unrooting my errant Crocosmia 'Lucifer' plants and should have a good supply of bulbs. I could also bring Native Bleeding hearts as they are taking over. And I have cuttings of a bright yellow Coreopsis that is a traveler.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

We are not fenced, we have a huge yard (5 acres). We just put up a 7x14 kennel, and we have a wireless fence with a 180 foot radius.

I would love to have some of the Coreopsis cuttings.

All of us are happy with any and all cuttings, starts, etc.

I am going to try to get some starts from my Physocarpus 'Center Glow' today. I have quite a few shrubs that I will take some cuttings from. What I need is a big "Round Tuit" button.

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

So It sounds like Quinn (the beagle) may not come along. And I may find A large Round Tuit in my collection of stuff. Let me see......

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Would Quinn be happy in the house or in the kennel? Will he stay by us and play with our little Bishon?

I hope you find the Extra Large Round Tuit, I really need it!

Mountlake Terrace, WA(Zone 8a)

Quinn can be a loner or a player, or a total wandering dog, He is a real people dog, but a scent hound never drops his habit of tracking. He's pretty calm, but we are really concerned about him wandering off to not be seen again, especially since we just lost another dog to kidney problems a month ago. Here's a pic of the two of them in better days. We could bring a crate and a leash, but he's not a dog to tie out. Nick (the one that just passed) is on the left, Quinn is on the right.

Dang it, I miss Nicky.
