Last year and again this year I have okra that produces one or two pods and then start getting yellow bottom leaves that drop off. That will progress up the stem until all that is left if the stem at which point I pull it out. I don't see any pests or mold. Does anyone have any ideas?
Okra dropping leaves
A plant will normally drop leaves, & then grow new ones. You should not have pulled your okra plants out. Maybe your plants were not happy about something, like the water amount or maybe the feedings.
okras tough, but a heavy feeder. sounds like lack of nutrionts or... what did the roots look like?
