A neighbor, whom I thought liked me, gave me some seeds to plant in my garden. Well, I can't remember what he said it was but it is very invasive and pouring over into my grass. Attached is a picture but I have not let it flower as I am afraid if I don't pull before it seeds the invasion will start all over again. Any ideas as to what plant this is?
What is this?
Oh, ick, I had this identified for me a few weeks ago. Based on the comments, the entire pot, dirt and all, that it sprouted in went into trash bag and out with the trash.

From my understanding, most of the Persicarias are pests.
Wow.. I hope your neighbor just didnt know and is really not that evil. Surely that was NOT on purpose.. !!!
