This catbird was getting a bite to eat at the feeder below where it was perched.

Frank, your juvie herons are cute.
Boots, your little bird is sure looking unhappy.
Margaret, you sure know how to photograph those osprey! So clear and sharp!
Lily, I think this is one of your best pictures of Lord Byron.
Julie, love that indigo!!
Hack, great capture on that first hummer-it's a juvie I believe.
A small flock of Bushtits were hard to follow, but this one sat still long enough for my photo.
Thanks, Hack. Good thinking with the wire coat hanger - and good results.
Thanks, duc. You were fortunate not to have seen the shots of the ospreys from the refuge that I deleted. I was too embarrassed to post them on the Awful Birds thread. Love your shot of the Bushtit.
Some Black-winged Stilts at the wildlife refuge.
Thank Duc on your compliment on LB, his vision is very keen. Every movement I made on the other side of the window. It'd fly off. lol. Hack , I don't get to see the catbirds around here much, but lot of Cardinals around here. Duc, all your juvies are so adorable. I think your Oak Titmouse is the cutest too.
The view is partially hiden, but here is a Great Blue Heron and an Egret;

Wow, this thread has been so amazing. I was just driving through Nebraska and stopped at a really cool overlook at Marsh Lakes. It had very powerful binoculars set on a dune. I saw what I was sure would be a new kind of grebe to add to my bird list. Got home, looked at the book and didn't know if it was a Western or Clark's Grebe darn it. Sure liked your pics though Duc.
Loved the finch party, the osprey, the Kookaburra, the hummer pics, bluebirds, kingbird -- just all great.
I'll be starting the new thread soon.
Time for a new thread. Again, great shots duc, burn and lily_love.
Let's share some more over here:

In Nebraska, it'd be a Western Grebe; Clark's doesn't occur in Nebraska, but Western does. So safe to tick Western ;-)

Excellent! That's what I thought I remembered. Thanks Resin!
