this Cardinal was just singing away...
Daily Pics. Vol. 338
Yes, Dave...thanks for starting the thread!
Duc...those dancing grebes are wonderful! Great capture!
Julie, your cardinal pics are very nice! Don't fret...my pics aren't that great either...we appreciate and are thrilled when anyone shares :)
Mrs_Ed, nice pics and I adore Goldfinches too...we are just starting to see fledglings now :)
Nanny...Good TV capture!!! Boy, those are huge birds!!!
Burd...All your pics are wonderful!!! Oh, and that poor Chipping Sparrow...
Sorry mother nature, but that's just wrong!...LOL
Goldfinch Party...
Nice shots SusanLouise...really like that party shot!
Duc, Love the Grebe shots!
Nanny, Nice ones of the Purple Martins, Robin etc!
Missy, So good to see the Kite!
Burd, Wonderful shots of the Caspian Tern and others!
Susan, Love the Goldfinch and Flicker!
This Osprey has taken up nearly full time residence in a big pine that overlooks our back fence. It has a direct line of sight on the squirrels that run along the top of the fence to get to the feeders.. I noticed that since the osprey arrived, the squirrel food has hardly been touched, the blue jays are taking the peanuts. The small birds know that the Osprey isn't interested in them: I see mockingbirds, cardinals and bluejays coming and going within striking distance of the Osprey.
Nanny, the Purple Martins are so cute! Great photo of your Robin.
Missy, that juvie Kite is just beautiful. You're so lucky to be able to see this in your yard.
SusanLouise, your Robin is a cutie. I think that little one has found a good home. Your Goldfinches look so pretty. Love that Dove stretching.
Burd, that Sparrow feeding the Cowbird is adorable. I feel sorry for mom having to work twice as hard to feed this large baby. Great photos of the waterfowl-especially that one diving shot.
bsharf, hope you'll enjoy all the loud chatter when the Osprey little ones start arriving and growing. Looking forward to lots of photos.
This is my favorite picture of the Western Grebe on the nest. She looks as surprised as I was when she stood up and there was an egg.
Duc... I had watched a documentary about the grebes and their mating dance! It was awesome! What a sight it must be in person! And again... the one at the end with th egg is fabulous!
Nanny... good ones of your purple martins!
thebestmissy... I love your kite! Great series!
Burd... your images are fantastic! I love that Caspian Tern!
SusanLouise... love you flicker! They are so strikning! We have them here but I have yet to get a photo!
Awesome close up Wild Rose!!
Adel, Cute shot of the chicks!
Duc, Love the shot of the Grebe with the egg! Wonderful shots!
VA, Good one of the female Osprey!
bsharf, Nice one of the Osprey! Your very lucky to have them so close.
Caspian terns...something I know....great pics everyone.
Adel, that more quail chicks than I've seen here. They sure are cute.
Nanny, love the Purple Martins. Are those all juveniles?
bootandall, great picture of your terns.
This isn't the greatest photo, but I just kept laughing while I was watching this very young Scrub Jay try to balance on the branch.
Vultures sitting on fences....WOW! That is something you do not see everyday!
Caspian terns...something I know....great pics everyone.
White-fronted Terns, not Caspian! ;-)
