Hi Dave
Please can you tell me what a September Bush smells like.
I understand the characteristics and the looks of the plant and flowers, but nowhere is there a description of it's smell.
Aroma of September Bush (Polygala myrtifolia)
You might want to post your question in the Beginner Gardening forum http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/b_gardentalk/all/ Are you positive it has a scent? I've never noticed that mine has a scent (I haven't stuck my nose in the flowers--but there's certainly no scent that's noticeable when I'm bent down next to it pulling weeds). Nor have I seen any websites saying it's supposed to be fragrant. Over here we use the common name sweet-pea bush for it, but it got that name for the appearance of the flowers not the scent.
