Thank you every one . . .
I was so happy to see that HIGE Cross. Now, to see the Burgundy colored stripes and the Pale Blue in it as they are in the Seiwa!
Jackie,
Here is one of your Rainbow's today with Turquoise
Morning Glories 2010 #13
Nice blooms everyone! So many that I can't pick out one in particular! It's good to see everyone having such wonderful success this year! Keep up the good work!
LOL Emma about our not so accurate weather people. Older
weather casters did better with their outdated equipment.
Love your Rainbow bloom with turquoise. Feel free to use Rainbow Sherbert on one of your beauties. It is a nice name.
The Hige cross is beautiful, the delicate colors make it special.
Love your newest blooms Helena, very pretty.
A new Fuji no Monet vine open today.
Thanks Helena. I have quite a few seed pods on my 1st no Monet vine.
This is my 2nd vine to open so hope it makes lots of sd pods for sharing too.
Love the Denim Mix bloom, so different.
It's 9:30 and dinner is still in the oven......love the pics everyone, I'm whipped............I'll look and enjoy,
Hey, MJ =
we FINALLY got **RAIN** today !
yahhhhhhhhhhhh, They keep teasing us ! I came in to cool off and going back outside in a few...
Here is a pic of my Morning Glory Bush.... Lavender...you have "Pale Pink"?
can you post a pic of "gray haze"
helen...Silver Wolf is very nice !
I have been trying to root Emma a somewhat darker version of Ipomoea Carnea ssp fistulosa. More often than not my cuttings have been buggy finally killing my start. Many times I leave the rooted cutting in water till it
starts to rot and then I can't save it. Now, once again, I have a rooted start in a 4 inch pot. Hoping I can send it to you Emma by the 1st week or two of Sept.
If I am lucky enough to get sds, will send you 2 or 3 of those for you to try.
Here it is sitting out by a tray of glories.
Hi all, I have been trying to catch up here...ALL the blooms are beautiful!!! Some of the crosses are outstanding! If I get to see just a few blooms on mine this year I'll be happy! Got a real late start due to some health issues but have been enjoying everyone else's. So glad to see some familiar faces too!!
Helena, love the variable blooms on that vine, especially the 2nd one,
so pretty.
Hi Ronnie, good to see you post. Was just getting ready to dmail you and see
what;s up.

Helena, Missed that first pic with 2 different looks to the blooms, love that one too.
I'm wondering about pruning also, I usually just let mine go, only trimming wayward stems that are "out in the air" so to speak........
Helena - Great Blooms
Jackie -
Wow! Thanks so much in advance for sharing your I.carnea with me.
I have a couple of the White Form rooted and potted up if you would like one of those.
Also MJ -
Let me know if you would like the other Ipomoea carnea White Form
Thanks Ronnie -
We miss seeing your lovely blooms
Hi MGMan -
Thanks so much for the great compliments.
Great that you are keeping us up-dated with your latest experiments. I have wanted to try this method, but have not yet. Let us know how it does when you get blooms.
Jackie and MJ,
Here is my White I. carnea from yesterday
Oh Wow I love that i. carnea. All mine got toasted this spring, after keeping them going all winter.
Helena and jackie, both of you have some great flowers. I lost my Fuji no Ao , and my fugi no monet on the fence when the neighbor decided to put down weed killer. I lost about six vines there in all. This one, however is a volunteer from last years. I have three I. Nils, all from volunteer along the north fence.
Emma, that JL hige is awsome, and so is the Gray haze.
Ronnie! Miss you! Good to see you!
The purpose of this experimentation is to produce the largest, best quality flowers if possible. Some plant enthusists will go to different measures to produce the largest flowers and vegetables. All I can do is try and discover a new normal:-)
Thanks Debra and Jackie -
Debra - I must look at what I have rooting and probably have more of the White Form that are just now rooting, but not potted up yet. I'm happy to send you one as well.
Too bad you lost your others. I'm pretty sure I have a 'Pink Form' as well if you would like to try again. You should still have plenty of time to get them established in larger pots so they will survive your over-wintering this year. Just feed the heck out of them.
Tony, Joseph has grown MGs using this method with great luck several times.
MJ -
Holy Smokes, I LOVE your Pink I. carnea and would love to have a cutting or seeds. Much Darker color that what I've grown. My Pink is more of a pale color.
They are all so awesome because they bloom ALL DAY LONG
Some of my blooms of my Pink Form
