Love that Buddleia. I'm trying to root some cuttings that I got from Joy- I hope it works! I want one of those in my yard so bad.

I've totally slacked off on taking pictures lately. Tsk. I'll have to go out and snap some when the light is right in the yard.

I love these little miniature single dahlias- they're blooming up a storm around the base of a dinnerplate dahlia I have in a whiskey barrel...

I just cannot get a good photo of this container. The yellow dahlia glares out every time. Argh. But this is where the mini dahlias are- there are three around the base of the yellow guy. (Summit Steady)

Pony you are busy with the garden. Lots and lots more to see.

And I have to brag about the Hollyhocks that are blooming at the EWA house. I think I got their seeds at the seed swap event at Pixy's.

Sharon, your gardens are so incredible! It must be such a pleasure to stroll around and see all the blooming things. So much color! I love wild sweet peas.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Yes, incredibly pretty. How did you tame a wild sweetpea?

You incorporate the sweet pea in your garden and give it something to climb on so it wants to stay.

See you are home again to enjoy your yard, Steve. Lovely. I find it interesting that the astilbe are blooming here and there at the same time.

Sharon and Steve, beautiful!

You garden is lovely, Sharon.

Lots of pretty stuff in everybody's yard! I am still fascinated by the differences in bloom times from one yard to another, and am looking forward to seeing it "charted" when I get it done. I am also very much enjoying the pictures of everyone's gardens as they are changing throughout the season.

The down side of my daylily addiction is that it requires most of my daily garden time to document seedlings, so I don't focus on much else. Not complaining mind you.... I have had at least 100 never before seen daylily faces to photograph this year, and have been doing the happy dance about quite a few of them.

Here are a few of the pretty daylily blooms in my yard over the last few days...

Thanks, Kathy. It is nice when I can be selective with the camera and avoid including the many weeds I still have to get to.

(Julie)South Prairie, WA(Zone 7a)

I am not quite sure how I feel about this one yet. It only had a couple of blooms for me last year, so this is it's first year to really see it perform, and it's kinda funky. The blooms are about 10" in diameter, so it definitely stands out.
