Can anyone recommend a retailer that specializes in healthy day-lilies and other lilies, i.e. Oriental, Asiatic, etc?
And
Is there a definitive book with photos of all lilies?

Where to obtain daylilies and other lilies
Hi. I've purchased daylilies from Lowes and online thru BlueStone Perennials. I have never had any problems with them.
Daylilies aren't actually lilies, so if you're looking for places that specialize you'll probably have to go to different places for each one. There'll probably be some places that carry both lilies and daylilies, but for the widest selection of each one you may want a nursery that specializes.
Here are some mail order places that offer daylilies: http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/advanced.php?search_text=&cat%5B158%5D=9&cat%5B157%5D=&state=xx&country=XX&sorter=rating&submit=Search
And lilies: http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/advanced.php?search_text=&cat%5B158%5D=16&cat%5B157%5D=&state=xx&country=XX&sorter=rating&submit=Search
As far as places to see all of them, for daylilies a good place to start is the Daylily Society--they have a database with tons and tons of cultivars: http://www.daylilies.org/ I suspect there's probably something similar for lilies out there too if you search around.
