Gina, how old do the plants have to be to get this tall? I got mine last fall and they are only a foot tall.

Mine have been coming back year after year this tall for about 5 years now. They completely die down in winter unless its very very mild. As soon as it warms up they start growing again. I received one 3 gallon container from a friend as a trade. It had maybe 3-4 foot tall plants in it. Now I have literally over 100 plants. I have to pull up tons of them as they pop up to keep them from spreading all over creation, but they are really worth it. They are stunning in person.

Many of the clerodendrons are like this. Bungeii is considered invasive to most folks here. Incisum, wallichii and speciossimum are very manageable by comparison. Ugandese spreads readily, and Minahassee and Indica, while considered rare, also spread rapidly when happy and established. I get 2-3 Minahassee's popping up every spring from seed

Thanks for that info, Gina. I have C. ugandense and paniculatum. Bungeii and speciossimum, they they don't spread. If you have extras of the ones I don't have, I will gladly take them - I know it's a pain to dig, label, pack and ship just for postage - I do it a lot.

Yes its a pain, sorry that's why I don't do it. I hardly have time to water as it is and when school starts will have even less with a 15 year old
