Bouvardia ternifolia
edited to add - Goth, I think your philodendron might be known as McColley's Finale now. I was told Mc Colley died and his widow was releasing one new phil each year and this was the last of his introductions. I have found you need to give it a lot of light to get that good red color.

Let's play the color game....RED!!
Alice, have you collected seeds from your Bouvardia? I just collected a few the other day and tossed them in a bare area next to the house, hoping I don't pull them as weeds! This is such a beautiful plant!!!
No, I don't think I have ever even seen seeds on it. I learned fromTony Avant at Plant Delights that this is a very hard plant to propagate. They suggested using Wilt Pruf on cuttings to maintain an adequate moisture level.
Going out now to check for seeds - LOL.
They are located in the dead bloom heads and are as tiny as dust particles, although if you look closely, you can see them.
I am truly in love w/ Neo Zoe.
Hoya imperialis - gotta hide this from D's SO or I'll be out shopping again.............
Are we running out of red? Should we go on to, say...purple??
Yes, Gina - let's do! We can still add to this thread as new plants bloom, can't we?
Ohhhhh, I want THIS ONE:
Barringtonia acutangula!!!!!!
Any seeds from that Barringtonia available?
I am very covetous...
Fla, I did a search for this plant and it is available as a plant, but I couldn't find any seeds for sale.
Gina, I'm out of red blooms for now - can you send me some of yours?!!! LOL I don't have many that bloom purple - have some blue and some yellow and a few white, but so many of my plants are done blooming with our horrid heat.
Let's go to purple !! or blue or white...
I have a few of all three colors you suggested, so I will post as soon as Gina starts the new color thread - this is SO much fun - thanks, Gina!!!!
