Had my daylily sale today, and I did quite well, considering. It was a hot day, too. Anyhow, I took in $140 after subtracting the cost of the ad in the local paper. Could be better, but everyone signed up for my email list and will probably return next year. And in the fall I'm gonna have a half price sale of all my potted perennials, so I'm sure some will come to that. Most of them were all great people, too, and I enjoyed showing them around the gardens. Everyone is always so surprised at how much I have in the back. The front is mostly shade, and you'd never know I have such colorful gardens in the back.

Love those tall lilies, JoAnne and Celeste! I'm going to have to get myself some of those.

Nice, colorful glads Rama. I have not grown any in a long time. I hate the fact that they need staking. Too many things need staking, as far as I'm concerned. I even have a few DL's that need staking.

Marilyn, love that tall DL. Do you know the name? I have a tall one that's blooming now called Goodbye Columbus.

Nice pics, JoAnne. I have HLB, too, got it last year. I love it! Nice color and form.

Pat, cool walking stick! I have not seen one since I was a kid. The one I saw was brown, and yes, it was a large one, too. So neat!

Celeste, you have some really pretty DL's there. Love Storm Prince and Cat Dancer. Love the triplets shot of Siloam David Kirchhoff. Christmas Is is a beauty! Space Mountain is gorgeous!!!!!! I NEED that one! Of course, Bella-Boo is adorable! Love the dress!

Believe it or not, I was so busy today I only took 4 pics.

Turn of the Century hibiscus. Literally a 'bare root' from a co-op less than a month and a half ago now close to 4 feet, blooming and loaded with buds.

Not sure what these are. They were sold to me as Stargazers in a school fund raiser last year. They're now from 5-6 feet tall.
