Awful Bird Pics Vol. 16
Hehehe, Duc that's too funny!
LOL Hack, the feeder is sure is pretty! So is the hummer. lol. He's too colorful to be missed.
I see him too,I kinda like our shots of the blurr..LOL
Yep, he's in the lower left.
Hack
So sad - the one with the busted leg.
Hack
Looks OK there, or is it the other leg? Even so, with the leg still soft and growing, it should repair quickly.
Resin
AWW,nice bad photos anyway=}

Look at the leg at the top of the pic, under the bird, pointing rearward.
Hack
Ouch. Yes that leg in the upper left of the photo looks bad. poor buddy.
Ouch! Hadn't seen that! I only looked below the bird . . .
Unlikely to survive - the leg will interfere with flying, so it'll be an easy target for a predator.
Resin
Oh how sad is that baby Robin!
Children don't play fair sometimes, a juvie House Finch tries to intimidate a Juvie Cardinal at the lunch buffet.
Humm, I think the larger juvy Card, may just eat the juvy HOFIN's lunch.
Hack
My thinking, Hack. Another nice bad one, LIly_Love :)
The baby Robin was still here yesterday but no sign of it today, including any aftermatch of feathers. But who knows since we see a pair of Red Shouldered Hawks fly over nearly every day. The Mom Robin is already building a new nest. That'll make the 3rd one this year in the same Cherry tree. Hadn't noticed that behaviour from Robins before and wondered if it's normal for them to abandon prior nests?
Hah, with all respect. Hack and FOTV, my view is that dynamite comes in small packages as evidence by Willy Wagtails attacking Ospreys (as in down under), Mockingbirds attacking Hawks ects. I was so tickled the other day when I saw a Mockingbirds attacking my beloved Golden Retriever. The dog did never notice the pesky Mockingbird hovering above its field of vision, but the bird chased the dog, then occassionally dive bombed the dog for a good long while before it abandon the chase. lol.
Here is another awful pic of Great Blue Heron in flight. (I think).
I understand what you mean lily. My aunt has some kind of puny, little dog, who thinks he can whip anything on 4 legs. He's not afraid of anything. He's just lucky that all the other dogs he chooses to "attack" pay him no mind.
