They ususally attack light colored roses. They start on my Mutabulis then go to my guara then attack my row of HomeRun dark red roses. They are really hard to get rid of. Currently I am cutting off every bloom on all these plants before I treat the plant and the surrounding ground. Has anyone had success in getting rid of these things, and if so, how did you do it? Thanks!
Thripes! eggs, larvae, flying insects.
spray with neem oil in the evening. it's usually 2 T. per gallon. you want the solution to get down into the flowers too.
