I could only wish this was in my flower garden :) My best friend just got her gardens going for the first time this year. Most of which she has no idea what is planted so I have helped her with figuring out what is what. So.... What kind of lily is this? V.
This is a Day Lilly ( Hemerocallis) and not a true lilly This one kind of looks like a variety named Kwanso but most of the Kwansos I have seen are more ruffled.

Daylilies reproduce quite readily--maybe your friend will eventually have enough to share with a couple with you :-} Mine are well established and I share lots of them with friends and relatives.
