The flower looks like Maisugata but the leaves on Maisugata I believe are not variegated. Here is a plantfiles link to Maisugata: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/89520/

Maybe it is a Mount Fuji variety?

I think it looks more like my Fuji no Monet, sds from Karen, G05
The Murasaki is more blue but Dianna's pic looks more purple. :-)

There is not white around the edges....as far as purple..?......I would say it is a deep blue?

????? this was the first bloom we will see what the others look like..and the leaves..are...varig....for sure..
and kind of large...lol

Diana - luv those ruffled halos at the center, ending in a pale, chartreus-ey effect in the center, which makes a wonderful complement to the deeper blue/purple further out on the limb
