The female hummers love this one fountain early each morning.
WESTERN HUMMINGBIRDS VOL. 11
Excellent shots duc! I love the way your capturing the water droplets too.
Thanks Pelle, it is fun to watch these birds play in the water.
...and it's marvelous to catch them playing in the water and/or on the natural setting while they take nectar from flowers. Though, I'm just plain thrilled to catch them at the feeder for they are zoom zoom zoom fast. Great pics.!!!!
I know I was watching a female ruby yesterday at the zinnia patch she was mezmerizing too cute no camera in hand ...LOL
Wonderful, duc. I just HAVE to get a fountain that showers like that.
She's dancing duc! That is a hummer dancing for sure. What a wonderous sequence! PNWMG I am looking for one too. I have also mentioned it in my monthly correspondence to Santa ^_^
Beautiful shots duc!
Dahlianut,
When do the Roufus start migrating up there where you are?
I just started a new thread of us having a rare eastern Nebraska Rufous sighting which stayed at our place from the 28th and left early this morning :)
Dahlia, what a pretty welcome setting for your future visitors.
Speaking of Rufous hummers, we've had one here for two days. It looks pretty young and usually they've come and gone by now from our area. This sure has been a strange year.
Here's a male Anna's that's sits on our deck all day to protect "his" feeder.
Wonderful shots duc!
Pretty setting dahlia!
Wonderful shots duc! Love the shower scenes.
All beautiful, duc. I love how it's got its feet on the shower head.
oh how precious is that napping one! zzzzz
I like them all!
I like them all too!
