They are quite tall. Started off with one bulb and in eight years it had multiplied to nearly sixteen.

Hi Karen. Thanks for the info on my pretty noid. I'll be moving it and will be able to keep an eye on any new babies when it's ready to be divided. Thanks for your compliment about the farm gardens! Wish I could get to your RU this weekend! Did you know that Bill is having a fall RU in late September?

Nice, Rama! Now that is a jungle for sure, and those banana leaves would make platters for serving. Love those Shez lilies. I need to get myself some. Love the shots of the sunflowers and the canna. I have not grown sunflowers in a long time. Last time I did the squirrels took the blooms right off as soon as they opened. Just chewed them all off and took them away. Darn tree rats!!!!! Beautiful coloration on the roses.

I notice Gilbert Wild has a sale going on. I might get myself some of their oriental lilies, which I just love. If anyone can let me know if another grower has better deals on the same lilies, please let me know. I'm interested in getting Bernini, Pink Expression, Pink Pearl, Rio Negro, Aubade and Casa Blanca. Here's the link: http://www.gilberthwild.com/Lily-Bulbs/products/5/

Louise, I didn't know Bill was having an RU in Sept. I might actually go! Did he post on the NE forums? I'll have to look for it. I wish you were coming to my RU this weekend, too. There are still lots of DL's blooming, even though some have gone by that should be at their peak at this time. Everything's 2-3 wks early. August Flame is already blooming, in fact it started last week. That one normally starts here the first week of August. They're all confused. One good thing, though, is that they all look wonderful in spite of the lack or rain and the heat. I did notice today, though, since it was a cooler day than we've had in a bit with rain, that certain colorations and designs on the DL's seem to show better during the cool weather than during the heat.
