Karen everything looks wonderful!!! LOVE Song of Spring
Luvly DLs Cousin Nut. I like Little Red Dumples in this group. Have fun at your RU.
Thanks, guys!
Jen, yes, isn't SOS a really nice one? I keep telling my friend Karen she needs to see it. She was selling DL's with me at my sale this past Saturday, and of course it wasn't in bloom that day. We're having another sale this Sat. Hopefully she can see it then.
Pens, that MG foliage is something else.
Nice, Gordon, and I love your view. You must get that a lot.
Marilyn, I love that DL! If it is a cross with a species DL, then it's a rarity. It's very difficult to cross with those, as they're not very fertile at all. I would love to have a piece of that one, if you're willing to trade.
Well, we're getting quite a bit of rain now. I didn't get anything done except to take pics today. Will post some soon.

do daylily often cross pollinate and create news ones?
I wouldn't have thought so, but there's no other explanation I can think of for this one, given where it is located and what is surrounding it. I don't have a clue! This is the first year it's shown up, amid an overgrown bunch of stellas, solid yellows and very old cellar-hole orange lilies. Maybe someone who is into pollinating DLs can explain it. I've put a piece of velcro around the fan so I can dig it up and put it in my garden where I can watch it. I'll wait until it finishes blooming.
Look at this cool little dude admiring my Wild Mustangs.......
Karen I am impressed you know so many.. AND where they are... now that's good!!!
Gordon - what a great backdrop you have for those lovely lilies!! Beautiful view!!
Yum, nice blooms guys.
Oops! Louise, I called you Marilyn. Sorry about that. I was interested in trading for some of your DL cross, but if you only have one fan you'll have to wait a few years for it to increase. DL's do cross pollinate on their own with help from bees and sometimes wind. It's surprising to find one that will cross with the old ditch lilies, though, as they're nearly sterile. Your place is looking very nice, BTW!
Thanks, Allison!
Oh, I'm posting over here today, and takes a lot of time to double post, so I'll just provide a link and post a few non-DL pics here.

Phlox, whose name is not coming to mind right now. Seems like it's named after some musician or composer or some such.
Patches sniffing the phlox. Actually she probably got a whiff of some critter.
