The crappy weather continues....I guess it's good practice for when we go to Disney in a couple of weeks.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 74
Looks like they're having some serious electrical problems up there!
80°,wind SSE 8mph, Rh 71%, cloudy
very psychedelic pic
Woo hoo doing the happy dance...it was raining it was pouring Wall-e was snoring!!!! Nice drenching rain FINALLY!!! and a thunder storm one of the loudest we've had since we've been here.
1.77" in an hour!!!
Finally getting a bit of rain. 0.11 inch so far.

Good to hear - send it here.
I'll try
HOLEY MOLEY it is POURING!!!!!
And here.
Yes, not satisfied with the 0.23 inches here, though I'll take anything I can get.
I hope we get more rain. Even with the 2.25" the other day the ground is dry. Pulled some annual grass out of a small fallow area & it was dust. Want to plant last yrs seeds as quite a few germinated this time.

Icky and sticky. Overcast. Temp 76 degrees with a calm west wind. Only about a quarter inch of rain from last evening and overnight. Hopefully more will arrive here soon.
lost power overnight.
78°, wind NNE 0.4mph, Rh 95%, rain
raining steadily since 7am, heavy at times.
The weathermen say 1.5"s in the last 24 hrs. and still raining. All precipitation deficit is erased and we are on the plus side and not a day too soon. River stage is up 0.3'. Still little or no run off, the ground is acting like a big sponge and soaking it up. Ric
i made it back comp crash
Sarge
Glad you're back, Sarge!
Shock of all shocks....it's raining here (nice gentle rain most of the night and all morning so far, and we actually have the internet!!! This is too rare to report! But watch....you won't see me for days now.........I just filled out a "reliability survey" for our Wild Blue internet satellite......wasn't very gracious in my remarks, so we'll see where we go from here......LOL
Rain here in the early morning under 1/2"
Got 1.1 inch since yesterday. Hoping for more! 76 and overcast. 86% H.
From my point of view the weather guys are nuts. Where is all this heavy rain I keep hearing about? Not here. We got five minutes of sprinkles, that's it. All the rain seems to be north or south. Grey muggy overcast pretty much rainless day. Flash flood warning...HA! Glad at least some of you are getting some needed rain, could you send the overflow this way please.
i hear you pat - although my better half says there is a nice light rain coming down now - i am not far away from you here and hope the rain stays away so it does not affect my ride home - although it isupposed to hit hard around 4
whew got caught in a downpour...you know how rain usually feels refreshing??? this felt like being in a sauna in the rainforest.
NOW my rain barrels are full. Not like last week when I needed them! My poor Maine Coon Cat lays in the hall with a small fan blowing on him, panting. I have cut his hair some with scissors - but if it is going to stay this hot I will have to put up the $100 for him to get shaved. :(
Raining lightly. Still only 1.13 inches.
Same here, Pat. Always misses us.
Finally a nice steady rain has started. Not a big downpour but moderately heavy. Okay I take it all back, the weather guys are occasionally correct, LOL. Hope it lasts longer than five minutes. Hope your ride home isn't messed up Bill, but I really need this rain down here.
Now we have a thunderstorm rolling thru
i know its raining pat - glad it is now and it looks pretty heavy to me! just have to drive the speed limit home.
Poor wha!!! Drive the speed limit???? You???? Careful now!!!
Not as heavy a rain here, but we are east of wha. Perhaps it will lighten up on his way home.
cheered a bit too soon this morning... it poured and poured and poured all day... I was driving though floods most of the afternoon ... was an eventful day for sure
Glad you got home safely, Allison!
Another hot day..82 degrees... no rain. Corn is ready to pick but ears are real small this year... no rain.
