You can never go wrong with brownies!!! I just hope one of those chilis are mild.
Fall Mass RU/ Food Thread
Liza's was mild, Jen. And I agree....lots of brownies too! LOL

Works out perfect. ☺
I keep saying tentative...lol...
So I'll make up some of my Pasta Salad. I'll need to bring a cooler with me. And I'm going to need to seek advice from Bill. I'll send out a different Dmail for that.
Bernard Callebaut chocolate being mailed to wha for the roundup for an appie, main course or desert depending on your whimsey. I want it on record that I sent it in case you eat it all up before the roundup wha ^_^ Warning: DANGER DANGER do not sample before roundup. If you sample, you will eat it all up. (I always eat it all up so it can happen for sure). DANGER DANGER do not sample before roundup. ps. this is very like Lost in Space with the DANGER DANGER warning, don't you think?
yes very lost in space!!... thank you!!
Dnut what usually happens when you tell someone NOT to do something?
I can only commit to TRYING not to sample :)
thx!!!
ROFL @ wha
I think with the RU about 3 weeks away, it's time to finalize the list of those who are coming (if possible) and declare what dishes we are all bringing. Have any of you "possibles" become definites yet? Once the list is final, I'll make up a dmail blast to send directions to those who are coming.
I'm going to bring hoagie dip or BLT dip or cucumber and ham antipasto
What do y'all think sounds yummier???
I think they all sound wonderful!!
The BLT dip sounds nice....& yes, so does everything else.
Well you guys are no help!!!☺
You're too good of a cook!
Yeah, I agree........I'd like any of them!
what is hoogie dip?
hoagie dip....
it's a dip that tastes like a hoagie, ya know submarine sandwich???
ok - i vote blt dip:)
I'm bringing an oriental chicken salad. Its really good
Ok your RU I'll do the BLT dip
fyi - I'll be sending out a directions dmail blast as soon as I can get it together. We've had unexpected company arrive, so I'm not quite finished......soon though.
I just sent the directions d-mail to those who are definitely coming. Please let me know if any of you who have not yet declared that you'll come become definites! Also, please remember to let us know what you'll be bringing for food and I'll update the list in the first post of this thread.
Sue - that Oriental Chicken Salad will be a hit!! Yummm.
and I loved the comments on the directions..very funny
glad you noticed jen:)!
"only home with good rock walls" Loved it!
I smiled as well! Now let's hope for excellent weather.
she says on hurricane friday:)
HeeHee.....
Well I'm afraid that my food offerings won't be quite on par with my plant offerings, but, well, one can't do everything.
I'll bring cheese, crackers or bread, and fruit or fruit juice.
just thought i would put something here to have it on the first page.
what kind of cheese? :)
Thanks for the bump, Bill!
Sounds good, Sharon! What kind of cheese? lol
carr's crackers?
geez. depends what's there when I go to the store! I'm partial to havarti with dill and sharp cheddar if that's okay. Maybe jarlsburg if they don't have the havarti. Don't ask me to bring feta or goat cheese or stinky cheese, because I hate them. I will also not buy gruyere at $15 a pound, though I love it. Will look for some carr's crackers if that's what you want, wha, but will probably bring some assorted ones too.
Will you still let me in the door?
i am just kidding with you :) gouda?
I know you are. Gouda is on the approved list.
So who is bringing the pina coladas and gin & tonics?
LOL, Sharon! I like your choices.....I'll put you down for high end non-smelly cheeses and crackers. Thanks for getting this going!
