My yellow crookneck squash plants are really starting to produce now, and all the mature squash so far has been a deep yellow with bumpy skin. This morning, I found a mature squash that has a pale yellow skin with no bumps. Any thoughts? Is there something wrong with this squash, or just natural variation?
Unusually pale yellow squash
No problem... just variation as the plant ages maybe.
My crookneck is doing the exact same thing.
Thank you! That's what I was hoping to hear!
