Then on the flip side the pitcher for the Thunder was 6'10"
ewwwww what kind of liquid???
Sports Talk!! Part 4
The ushers said it was from the gutters, but since it hadn't rained for days, we were skeptical....so a bunch of us got to move to very choice seats.
That's gross. And people say that Fenway Park is a big green toilet!
not any more they don't GS - the upgrades over the past several years have changed all that.
Hubby said the best time he had at a bball game was at Fenway.
Cool pic. We saw an Indians game there in '99. Son was an Indians fan then, now he's a Red Sox fan now.
Sounds like his allegiance as an Indians fan might have ended when Manny left for Boston?
I've been to one game at Fenway....could not believe how small it is!
I forget which player it was, J-2 would know. But the Indians had traded his favorite player. Not Manny.
He was never a Manny fan. The player he liked was Kenny Lofton.
Was Darren Bragg a Red Sox player? Article in our local paper yesterday says he has a business here in town called the Hit Club, & he was doing some sort of fundraiser.
not sure - google?
I'm Googling kitchen appliances right now.....I hate to shop!
He did play for the Red Sox for a while in the mid 90s but he was one of those guys that had a new team every couple of years.
OK...thanks.
My poor son, the loyal Mets fan, went to the game with a friend. They got slaughtered 14-1!
Mercifully, I turned it off at 6-1......don't think they're going into 1st place anytime soon....Arizona is pitiful.....poor kid, he must have been very bored!
sox win two in the ninth!
They're hanging in.
yup - can't get healthy soon enough
Watch those Rays.
after what happened to stevie we do!!!
30 people in ticket sales were let go by the Miami Heat the other day since all the tickets sold out when they got LeBron! Ouch.
Well I just saw a photo of Brett Favre crying. Can only mean one thing - the annual retirement thing.
Maybe his Wrangler's were just too tight?
LOL ...remind me again why I'm a Mets fan.....they are pathetic!
Yes they are, Robin. Not worth watching anymore this year. Looking forward to football.
I am, too....& of course, UCONN basketball.
Fans of teams stick with them. Stuck for 67 yrs. now with the Packers, both good & some very bad times.
we'll see how long that lasts. Last time Farve retired, he cried and then wanted to play again later.
i agree lucy - no fair weather fan here - i was at the 1 of the 1-15 Cowboys back in 89 i think.
red sox will find a way...........i hope
I'm afraid that all is against the sox unless the other top teams have injuries--I hope not, tha's nothing to wish on anyone. However I'm glad to see the rays ahead of the yanks, Even if yanks are in the playoffs, they won't be top dog.
Youkilis getting hurt was a big blow to the Red Sox, I think. The guy just seems like the heart and soul of the team.
But if the Yankees keep slumping like they are then I'm going to start hoping for the wild card all over again. About a week ago I'd given up hope and was starting to look forward to Patriots season. Er, um, I mean football season.
too much summer left to be waiting for fall
The Red Sox have America's best fans - so says forbes magazine! Celtics are 7th and my Cowboys are also in the top 10 (so are the patsies).

I think the Packers fans should be there. A smaller population base.
Incredible catch!

Sign him up for the Mets.....their fielding has gone south.
That's for sure.
