hi It's hot again!!!!

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

Gorgeous, gorgeous everyone!

Pirl, I bought Halifax and Acapulco last year. Mine are still in bud. Thank you for the glorious preview!

Thanks, Donna.

Lost Invasion! Something might have gotten to it during storage time over winter.

Terribly hot here too. Couple of pictures from today.

rfcfishlady, I love Nettie's Pride planted next to something that looks like Centerfold (on the left). What a great combo. Also totally in love w/ Double Pleasure.

Pirl, the markings on your Bonbini are great. I remember last year a couple of people, me included, commented about how it was faded. Not yours!

Loving Melloyello, yellow speck and Cheerful. Actually, loving all the pics. Now that most of mine are nothing but brown sticks, your pics are cheering me up.

Another week of humid hot weather,my lilies are not only recurved but tips of petals are toasted.

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

Lilium Sorbonne. It's best year ever!

Donna - that is divine! I hope mine looks as good but I doubt it will.

This heat is no friend to lilies. I put some of ours on the outdoor dining table with the umbrella up to protect them.

Thanks, Voss. As I noted some Bonbini (most) aren't all that colorful this year but that one is a winner.

The one that hasn't faded and has gone on to bloom over and over again is Dimention/Dimension. It still has flowers blooming three weeks after they first started. The strawberry/white combo on one Tango Lily just isn't giving up either and the most thrilling for me, Stunning, is still glorious with four flowers open.

What a beautiful lily. I'm seeing so many on this thread that I've never heard of. It's wonderful!

Same here, Donna. My want list is growing.

Stunning came from Buggy. I couldn't thank her enough.

I love the way it matches the clematis!

Jack - your Salmon Star is lovely. Ours should be opening shortly. That "lots of lilies" photo is not an understatement!

jmorth,

Love the "lots of lilies" !

Pirl, the last pic w/ Stunning and the clem and the light purple (astilbe?) is absolutely glorious. Sent me on a wild goose chase for Stunning, an asiatic, but no luck. all I found was lisa's pic.

Thank you, Jack and Nery. I just love that lily! It was planted in December '09 and the description said 4 - 5' but I never expected that height the first year.

Here's a Maywood in the process of opening, which reminds me of a chicken.

Can't possibly be Matrix though that's what I ordered. Pretty at 6:23 AM regardless of the name.

Don't know the name of it but it certainly is wonderful.

Here's one too shy to show its face and I simply couldn't bend down lower to get it. No idea of how it got where it is either.

Yes dlefferts, that is Arena. But...
I don't think that's White Henryi. White Henryi has an orange center with red/maroon flecks.

Bev, your lily http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=7956038
looks like Lilium auratum, or a hybrid very close to it.
