Law Mowing Problems

Plantersville, TX(Zone 9a)

I love a beautiful green lawn, but who is suppose to mow it. The pills I take say to stay out of the sun & heat. Well, I guess I can't very well mow it. My husband says he'll do it, but he has so many other things to do. We have no neighbor kid who can do it. So, what do you folks do about your grass mowing. Any iteas.

You can mow in the early evening when the sun has gone down
but it is still light. It's usually a bit cooler then too, even here in
the desert. We do that because we have watering restrictions
and can't water between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. anyway and then
only three times a week. DH mows and then I give the lawn a
good soaking.

You could have a landscaper put Bermuda or zoysia(sp?) plugs into the existing lawn. Within a couple of years they should overtake and kill off the existing grass and then you'll have a beautiful lawn that requires pretty much zero mowing. The Zoysia(sp?) is like walking on a plush carpet and feels soooo nice under bare feets!! :)

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

You could buy a goat and let him graze.
