Your DL photos are dangerous, Julie. I nearly faint when I look at them. ;D

That screamin' red/orange seedling bloom is awesome- nice work!

Everything looks beautiful, Sharon. Love that Neon Rainbow!

Very pretty gals.

I don't know the name of the 'iris by the pond'. I bought it at the real Heronswood years ago. But you are welcome to a piece of it if you wish.

I think summer is finally in full swing. Everything has really started to bloom during that heat wave we had. I only wish the tomatoes would hurry up. They are still small as peas.
This DL was hiding under a large leaf of a lupine. Sure is pretty.

This pretty one was hiding behind some tall weeds. Glad I pulled the weeds or I would have missed this one.

This DF really enjoyed hanging around the pond yesterday. He was up high enjoying the view and away fron the prying eyes of my frogs.

More gorgeous DLs for me to drool over... hehe. Boy, the red and orange ones all make me crazy, I love them so much. :)

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Okay here's my dark orangey red one. I love the purple DL's and the short stubby peteled ones.

*goes crazy again* Yep, that DL does it for me too. hehe. (I also love purple ones) :)

Your wee campanula is adorable. :)

Vashon, WA(Zone 8b)

Thank you, WIllow. I would love to have a rhizome of "iris by the pond" though I have no pond to plant her by.

I am positively drooling over those roses and dayliles. My new daylilies are blooming for the first time this year. Before this I have only had the plain, but lovely yellow Stella.

And the baby Campanula is soooo cute!

Lake Stevens, WA

oooh! Very nice! Love the DL'S I just have light peach DL, will have to branch out some. Love the pictures.

Very nice!

(Linda)Gig Harbor, WA(Zone 8a)

Gees Julie...beautiful DL....now I'm thinking about tossing out all the blah ones out and stealing some of yours!!

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

Very pretty, mbabbitt. :)

(Sharon)SouthPrairie, WA(Zone 7a)

mbabbitt, your daylily bed is looking great! Linda, I would heartily recommend doing just that. I dig out the plain, old ones wheever I have the energy and they then line the trails through the woods. Every year the newer varieties get better and better. It is sure fun to see what Julie's seed experiments have offered. I am sure she would be happy to share some of the "similar to one another" ones with you.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Very nice effort on the daylilies mbabbitt.

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Anyone who beautifies my favorite town like Bothell is my favorite shot of the day. Nice Mbabbitt!
Well I can only show things months behind you guys but having been here this is some now in bloom in the yard this morning. Mostly Delphiniums.

Thumbnail by Soferdig
Woodinville, WA(Zone 8b)

Gorgeous daylilies!

Vashon, WA(Zone 8b)

Gorgeous Delphiniums too! Do those grow here on the wet side?

(Pony) Lakewood, WA(Zone 8a)

Love those delphiniums, Steve.

Holly, I have delphs in my garden. They do great as long as they get plenty of sun. The one I have that's in part shade tends to flop all over the place, while the one in full sun stays nice and upright. I have fresh seeds for 'Guardian Blue' if you want some.

Cedarhome, WA(Zone 8b)

Sofer, it was refreshing to see your vibrant delphs - mine are in their last state of tatters shouting at me to be cut back, and your photo reminded me of their past glory.

Bothell, WA

Soferdig,
I really like your composite picture of delphiniums. My own died this past winter. There is not many flowering plants that have that beautiful blue. I may have to replace them.

Bothell, WA

Here's one other view of my front yard, from the north end. The dark purple daylily in the distance is Strutters Ball. It had dozens of sprays this year and its flowering has been amazing.

Oh, I meant "scapes", not "sprays" in the above message. I guess the term had temporarily e'scaped my memory.

Cedarhome, WA(Zone 8b)

Beautiful flowers mbabbitt. Good year for daylilies judging from all the pics.
