Did y'all notice the shadows of bud, leaf and stem on the silk of this MG's corolla - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=7989772 ? Reminds me of those shadow-dancing puppets in the east.

Dany, I don't have words to properly compliment you on this one - incredible. Did you photograph this one early in the morning when the sun's rays were long? so beautiful

In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayang

Scroll down to "Wayang kulit" - the puppets would be lit against a cotton cloth with a lamp, and viewed in silhouette on the side of the cloth away from the lamp - like those MG buds and leaves backlit against Dany's I. nil version of Wedding Bells by the sun

Karen what an imagination!
Me,I hear the music that goes with it.

Sazanami

Dany, I wish we could hear the music these flowers are making for you. If I'm not embarrassing you, could you describe it a little? Rockets taking off at Cape Canaveral? Pan whistling to a blackbird? Jupiter symphony? I wonder how rap would sound for a morning glory occasion? Barber Shop Quartet? The Fuji Rock? Shibori Twist?

I noticed a Tango above :)

Thank you Debra.
Finally I have not pulled this Crimson Rambler piece by piece. I took the vine from flower to the roots that I snatch.
Plant remains in the grid, it will be ugly for some days but it will dry.
Here a large flower that has not found place to lie - Berlin Blue Emma.

Today is a rainy morning.
I prefer the rain the night or afternoon, but late night and until 9:00 this should be banned! LOL
I lost a lot of flowers.
Even the sunflowers are filled with water!

Oh, it was a crimson rambler? They like to ramble where they don't belong as well. I have been snipping the pinks everywhere.
It finally rained here last night. Your sunflwer is gorgeous. The finches have been eating mine.
Tango is very nice. Where did you find that one?

Dany - Lovely blooms! Sazanami is still one of my favorites! Yours is beautiful!

I agree with Becky, beautiful Saz and Berlin Blue

szarvas, Hungary

Last week was the cold front so not many flowers.
Then I look foliage. It 's crazy the variety there is!
I do not think that there is another botanical species that has so much diversity.

Here among the most beautiful.

Here is the plant of the first three leaves.
Wonderful!
I hope that the flower is also beautiful.

You have some really beautiful leaves, Danny. I never give them all that much attention. I tend to notice that they are variegated, or differently shaped, but I never thought of actually picking them to see how different they are.

Thanks Elsa.

Awesome looking variety! In your last photo of variegated leaves, the ones on the very left are really neat! What a weird shape they have!

Did the cold front come early this year? Last year you had blooms until the end of August:

Dany - loved your presentation of the amazing variety of mg leaves. They remind me of the graphic artist, Escher, and his etching of birds - http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=Escher+%2B+birds&aq=f&aqi=g3g-m2&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=CQygxrfFSTPr2BYXyzATu7unACgAAAKoEBU_QmPyn&fp=7a243f4fdcd3825a .
