We planted several Kalmia latifolias last fall. Most bloomed nicely but all are in various stages of decline. Whole sections turn brown at once.
What is happening to my Kalmias?
Decline is rapid and some are already gone. What is casuing this and can anything be done to save them? A view of the stems in the interior.
I am no expert on this, but could it be some sort of blight? (fungus). Try a fungicide, I use horticultural oil for powdery mildew, maybe stronger stuff is in order.
