New thread for 2010 lilies

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

Calif-sue, I'm sure your are right. The picture I posted is not Arena. I have a new puppy that just loves my plant tags. She moves them & chews them. I'll try & check my records and correct the lily. Thanks for the help.

Thought I'd lost them to a late frost, but only one huge bulb was damaged, and all the other came through. This, and Anastasia, are my favorite lilies.

Thanks TPNursery. They are so prolific that I started with 3 Old House Garden bulbs, have given away at least 5 clumps, and moved 3 to other places. They have a nice scent too.

dlefferts, that's not Arena http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=7936746
It it's best form, IMO, it should be this http://www.thelilygarden.com/pages_lilies/oriental_4.html

The Lily Regestry http://www.lilyregister.com/register/details.php?id=5933

A nice lily, though, whatever it is.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Newfield, NY

get1836,what is your pink lilly name?

South Lake Tahoe, CA

Doridunn,

Have your bulbs grown to plants and bloomed already?
My Orientals and Orienpets are established plants with no buds.
We have a late season, due to our altitude and cold hardiness area.

Would love to trade with you or anyone else.
Send photos of the lilies if available.

thanks,
Babette

Doridunn, Will trade in the future, mine are a little to new & only have one stem. Leftwood sorry for the misname. I do appreciate the help in identifing the right lilies. I have a new puppy and she loves chewing & removing the plant tags. I will try & do a better job with ID's. I also found out this year that when you order lilies from some places that they do not send you what you ordered. I ordered Tinos & got Grand Cru. I will certainly miss Buggy - she always got it right.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I hope I didn't come across as scolding, dlefferts. It would be my worst horticultural fear come true if birds started picking at all my labels. I have a thousand plus!

But perhaps you could go back and edit your post, so others won't get the wrong idea of what Arena is. Under similar circumstances, I would hope others would do the same, though they rarely do.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks, nanny!

Good idea about editing the name. There may be some who don't read far enough to catch the error.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have Shocking and Red Dutch together.I think Red Dutch will start any day if it hasnt opened over night. Its still too dark to tell.
