Garden Blooms 2010-21
very buggy Victor.. but so many neat shots!!!
love that one Polly... and I am ready for my tour of Tex's garden!!!!
Thanks. More beauties, Tex! How big is your garden?!!
Very nice Tex. Love those hydrangea and roses. Love the 'Pink Poodle',alas something ate mine at the roots.
Nice shots Robin. I just noticed some color on the phlox buds here too. Seems awfully early to me. Yes I am the one hat wondered about the streaking on the dark DLs this year. Last year they were all so flawless, must have been all the rain and cooler temps. Your Archangel DL is pretty flawless this year I think.
Alot of DL's when they first open (FFO) have blotches, however...'Startle' is notorious for that but a great breeder.
I'm still fuming about a long post I wrote here last night because I had so many things I loved here as I went through all the posts. I lost the whole post when I either hit the wrong key or lost the satellite because of a storm to the west. That is so frustrating!
Anyway, in a capsule - Polly's blue pic, Tex's hot colors, Marilyn's DL beauties, JoAnn's combos, Pat's many pretty shots, Rama's pretties, Victor's PDD & buggies & Jen's 2-toned hydrangea....many more too....wonderful shots from everyone! Oh, and Allison's PicasaWeb album.......loved it and decided to try one of my own......thanks Allison! I'll post mine soon........Thanks everyone for all the beauty!!
Louise
I have a very small yard in the front where most of my ornamentals are planted. Everything is just well packed, literally almost every square inch is planted with just a small lawn. The property is kind of narrow but elongated. So both sides of he house are planted too. The backyard is well elongated but mostly shaded areas due to surrounding trees all over. What ever sunny spot left in the backyard is used mostly for vegetable gardening. Pretty soon I'll make garden beds in the middle of the lawns. LOL!
That is so maddening, Louise. Happened to me a few times.
Very nice, Robin. Love the dark one and the spotted one.
Thanks, folks! Tex, sounds like you're using all your space well.
tex is the man
Tex's property sounds like my old house. I had to garden in tubs on the un-used driveway. Its a challange to garden in a small space but not impossible. My hat's off to Tex.
