I can't help you with your spiderwort, but you might want to edit your post and take out your email address--this forum can be seen by anyone, Google, etc so it's generally better not to post email addresses. There's a mail system on this site so someone who has some can mail you through that system, or else they can post here on the thread.

You might also want to check out the trade lists--here are all the people who have Tradescantia available (there are a number of different species--I'm not sure which one you're looking for). Scroll through and check who's got the one you want, and you can d-mail them to see if they still have it available (click on their username in the trade listing, then click the link to go to their member page and there's a link there to send them a d-mail http://davesgarden.com/community/trading/search.php?search_text=tradescantia&showhave=on&submit=Search People from anywhere in the country can send things by mail so it doesn't necessarily have to be someone close to you. I don't know if you have anything to offer in return for the trade--some people really only want to trade plants, but others may be willing to send you some if you pay the postage.
